Sandreck's Advanced Ceramic Filter Press Machines

Sandreck ceramic filter press machines are high-efficiency industrial filtration devices. Utilizing a patented drainage system, they can easily handle 450-mesh ultrafine slurries from mines, chemical waste, and environmental sludge.

The equipment consists of a rotor, ceramic filter plates, and intelligent scrapers, featuring a compact design and superior performance compared to disc filters. Its unique feature is the intelligently adjustable porosity of the ceramic filter plates, which, like a precision sieve, can adapt to materials with varying particle sizes.

Ceramic Filter Press Application

A ceramic filter press machine is a high-efficiency vacuum dewatering device. It utilizes capillary adsorption through ceramic microporous plates. It is primarily used in the mineral processing industry for dewatering fine-grained concentrates and tailings, including concentrates from iron ore, copper ore, lead-zinc ore, tin ore, tungsten ore, and gold ore. It can also be used for coal slime dewatering in coal washing plants, fine sand and mud separation in sand and gravel plants, and the treatment of waste slurries from non-metallic minerals such as kaolin and feldspar.

This equipment features low filter cake moisture content, low energy consumption, and clean filtrate. It is suitable for continuous, large-scale dewatering of fine-grained materials, and the filtered water can be recycled directly into production, thereby reducing water consumption.

What is the working principle of a ceramic filter press?
It relies on the capillary action of microporous ceramic plates to form negative pressure vacuum adsorption, separating water from fine mineral slurry without high pressure, to achieve continuous low-moisture material dewatering.
What are its advantages over traditional filter presses?
It features lower energy consumption, cleaner filtrate, lower cake moisture, and fully automatic continuous operation, with no filter cloth wear and a long service life of core components.
What materials is the ceramic filter press suitable for?
It is specially designed for fine-grained mineral materials, widely used for dewatering copper, gold, iron, lead-zinc concentrates and coal slime in mineral processing and coal washing industries.
