Advanced Magnetic Drum
The Sandreck magnetic drum is a dry magnetic separator designed for the pre-concentration of coarse-grained, strongly magnetic minerals. It is suitable for rejecting waste rock containing magnetic impurities or recovering iron ore (with particle sizes up to 300 mm) from waste rock, offering a processing capacity of 100 t/h to 350 t/h. By pre-rejecting a significant amount of tailings, the grade of the ore fed to the grinding circuit can be effectively improved.
The equipment features a large magnetic wrap angle (less than 180°), which extends the separation path and increases the frequency of magnetic particle flipping, thereby achieving effective separation between magnetic and non-magnetic (or weakly magnetic) minerals.
